Six standard air bags form the core of Armada’s comprehensive safety strategy. The Nissan Advanced AirBag System incorporates seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor to inflate the dual-stagesupplemental front air bags according to crash severity and seat belt usage. Armada also has front side-impact supplemental air bags built into the seat, so they move with you. In addition, roof-mounted curtainsupplemental air bags help provide head protection in the event of a side impact or roll over. 1

Rollover sensor. Every Armada is equipped with a rollover sensor. When it detects an impendingrollover, the system deploys the curtain air bags to help provide enhanced head protection for all threerows of outboard occupants. 1

Brake Override Technology. Like every Nissan since 2005, Armada comes standard with Brake OverrideTechnology. It’s designed to help slow down your vehicle and bring it to a safe stop in an emergencyby overriding accelerator input and reducing engine power when the accelerator and brake pedals areapplied simultaneously.
