NLC installed container scanner all across thecountry on behalf of CBR.

In 1st

phase 6 scanner are being installed.

This facilitate the customer to conduct theirbusiness free of encumbrance of the post 9/11security paradigm.

These scanners are already functional at PortQasim , Karachi , Lahore , Sialkot & Faisalabad.

NLC has been tasked to build terminals

at Wagah , Torkham/ Jamrod, Chaman &Taftan.

NLC acquired land in these areas to

develop these terminals & provide warehousing & display centers.

Dry Cargo :It also handles commodities such as fertilizers, wheat, rice

cotton & sugar from ports and production sites to

consumption centers all over Pakistan.Liquid Cargo :

NLC is a major oil carrier for OGDC , BP and MOL.

It lifts over 50% of nations crude oil. The oil is transportedfrom oil fields by NLC to refineries at Karachi &

Rawalpindi. Car Carriers :

NLC has imported EURO 3 Prime Movers which are 1st oftheir kind in Pakistan.

x NLC has introduce new hydraulically operated carcarriers, which has capacity of transporting 10 cars.

Fleet Monitoring System: NLC is Pakistans only road transportation organization to

install fully computerized vehicles monitoring system.

The system facilitates in the identification of location ofcargo being transported, and in forecasting its arrival atdestination.

Water Services : NLC has dedicated its bowzers for delivering pure water

in Karachi .

It supplies over 3 million liters of water on a daily basis.
