No ITEM Key Word Description Vendor confirmation results
1 Common MaterialPlease confirm that the material of the type 304 is suitable for the fablication.
2 Common Baffles
Information issue schedule
(1) Agitator's size, number of impeller blade
(2) baffle
(3) Assembly sequences of agitator impeller blade and shaft
(4) Nozzle load (Static load, Torque, Vertical down, Bending moment) for N4 to be provided from
Agitator Supplier
(5) Tolerance of nozzles for vertically mounted agitator
(6) Informaiton for the vibration check as below.
- Motor Frequency
- Rotating speed of blade
- Q'ty of baffles
3 Common Knuckle
Knuckle radius:
Vendor to confimr whether the current knucle radius shown in data sheet is suitable or not.
4 Common Knuckle
Please confirm the knuckle part fabrication procedure.
- Press machine capacity
- Availability of Dye of pressing (Newly fabricate for each item? )
- Whose scope of forming? By sub-vendor or By vessel vendor?
- Experience of pressing (or forming)
5 CommonShell /
Conical
Even though it's non-code vessel, shell and conical thickness shall be designed and calcuated as per
ASME VIII Div1 Appendix-9. Due to pressurizing inside steam coil, shell and conical will be stressed
from external. Please confirm and follow the above requirement.
6 Common Jacket Coil
Following requirement to consider:
The Jacket coil shall be welded with full penetration after V-bevel edge preparation. Further, all
welding seam shall be NDE examined by PT or MT.
7 Common Fabrication
Vessel fabrication procedure shall be finalized in consideration of the imppeller blade size, baffle size
and agitator assembly sequence.
The points of procedure are:
- Blade installation method
- Tolerance for shaft verticality
- Timing of installation
- Who will install
- How to take the agitator parts in vessel, and from where
- Required inspection after agitator installation
- Temporary support for transportation (if required)
8 Common
Agitator
Mount
Nozzle
- Vendor to verify whether a RIB supports and additional rainforcing around Agitator Mount nozzle is
reuired or not
- Vendor to recommended how much nozzle projection will be required.. (We guess 150mm nozzle
projection is too short)
9 CommonMotor
Type
Please confimr if the Motor of Agitator can be located on top roof.

Stiffener
Beam
below the
top roof(1)
Please incorporate the scope of design and analysis of Vibration and reinforcement design of top
roof.
The vibration would caused by agitator due to resonance. And also need confirm whose scope of top
roof design to avoid vibration.
Stiffener beam shall be designed in consideration of not only the loading data from Agitator Supplier
but also the sympathetic vibration between tank and agitator.
11 Common
Stiffener
Beam
below the
top roof
(2)
To avoid vibration and to reinforce support beams, the additional ribs inside STEEL channel are
required. (As per Taganito PJ Lesson Learned)
12 CommonNozzle
Projection
The following nozzle projection to be recommended by vendor.
N2 , N7 A/B/C, N8 A/B/C (those are attached on the jacket coil)
13 Common
Fabrication
of Coil
Jacket(2)
Please confirm the fabrication procedure and sequence of coil jacket with vessel vendor. The
attachment is one of typical fabrication sequence.
When vendor follow the above typical sequence, please confirm the following points;
- Experience
- Coil bending procedure and sub-vendor
14 Common
Bolt Circle

bolt
Vendor to advice the B.C.D. and Lugs location.
15 CommonLoading
Data
Loading data shall be calculated by vendor.
16 V-430/V-431Support
Lug design
Vendor to cofirm whether a lug support is sufficient for V-430, V-410.
