Anukun Hamala (Gang) Designer A Chiang Mai native, Anukun has more than 10 years experience in the field of graphic design. He graduated from Ratchamongkol Institute, Faculty of Architecture, and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Department of Architectural Education, Faculty of Industrial Education. Anukun worked at several magazines in Bangkok and Chiang Mai as a graphic designer before deciding to quit and do what he really wanted: open a small art shop. Anukun has proved his outstanding style by winning many awards in graphic design. His area of interest also covers writing fiction and non-fiction, drawing and photography in which you can see the variety of tech- niques shown in his works. Nokhookdesign was founded by Anukun Hamala (Graphic Designer) and Kittiya Moonsarn (translator, columnist and teacher). We run a small shop selling handmade products and open an art gallery in Chiang Mai. Our products are inspired by local culture and art. 2007: December Organized the Twin Mix Postcard Project, a collaborative project between 24 Thai designers

The project is welcoming all kind of designers in Thailand (both profes-sional and amateur) computer graphic, illustration, cartoon, photo and many other fields of arts to join the project together by creating a new designed artwork with another designer you never work with before. 24 participants will form 12 pairs and create a work under the topic The multiculturalism in Thailand. 12 designers will be selected to work with another 12 guest designers. The art works will be published in 4x6 post-cards (2,000 set) and part of proceedings will go to charities.

2008: September Organized the Nokhook Paper Toy Project

This project will be displayed at my Webstite. If you want to join us, design your own style paper toy on our template. We will welcome all designs.

As ‘Art’ should be flexible and reshapeable just like Jelly is. That became the inspiration for the JELLY Project, an exhibition by various fields of artists, mostly based in Chiang Mai and some from other provinces, to join hands producing networks and new line of arts.

The participated groups are including graphic designers, video arts, comic arts, motion graphic, painting, installation arts, street arts and much more. Prepare yourself to be surprised, stunned and also join the art activities with them.
