Graduate Research Symposium Nomination Form 

Please use this form to nominate a graduate student to participate in the Graduate Research Symposium scheduled 

February 27‐28, 2018. Please follow these instructions:  

Complete and submit this form along with the student’s abstract to Mari Stevens, Administrative Coordinator, 

mari.stevens@utrgv.edu, by Friday, February 2, 2018.   

Abstracts should be typed, no more than 300 words, on a topic suitable for a short (< 8 min) presentation. 

Upon receiving your nomination form, we will then contact the students with further instructions regarding the 

poster presentation. 

Each Graduate Program Coordinator/Director may nominate up to 2 (two) students. Please use a separate form 

for each student you nominate.
