2005/06 NANP Budget & Contribution Factor Filing

• Overview:– NANC endorsed the budget and use of a portion

of the surplus funds at March meeting. – Welch and Co accepted the B&C WG April 28th

memo suggesting delineating plans for bill inserts and notices regarding the contribution factor.

– Updated calculations required a contribution factor of 52 instead of 46 as the revenue is lower than expected.

– B&C WG reviewed the Welch and Co filing and believe it sufficiently meets the NANC recommendations.

Performance Metrics and Performance Evaluation Planning

- Metrics Under Consideration Include:- Report Accuracy and Timeliness to FCC, BCWG

and NANC- Invoices to carriers are accurate and timely- Adequacy of SP access to B&C agent staff- Adequacy of response to queries from SPs- Does the B&C agent staff exhibit sufficient

knowledge- Are the B&C Agent staff courteous
