MAYOR’S CORNER Celebrate Independence Day with Red, White and Bicentennial Boom on
Sunday, July 5th. Fireworks return to North Olmsted for the first time in 25
years! You won’t want to miss this showcase event of North Olmsted’s
Bicentennial at Great Northern Mall. There will be food trucks, music and
entertainment for the entire family. The event starts at 7pm with fireworks at
dusk.
The North Olmsted Fire Fighters 28th Annual Cruise-In 2015 is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 8th from 5pm - 9pm at the Great Northern Corporate Center
located at 25000 Country Club Blvd. Come join us for a fun filled evening
featuring classic cars, custom cars, great food and great music. Cost is $10 and
all proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Rain Date July 9th.

Gather the family and join us for a Friday evening movie in the park. Alexander
and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day on July 10th at 8:25pm
Enjoy a free treat from Chick-Fil-A at this event.
The 2015 Family Concert Series has begun. Sunday, July 19th from 6pm –
8:30pm at the North Olmsted Park. Enjoy food from Nosh Box, and music by
Tricky Dick and the Cover Ups! Special appearance by the St. Ignatius Circus
Co.
The North Olmsted BiKEcentennial is on Sunday, July 26th from 10:30am –
1:00pm. Bring the whole gang out for this family friendly bicycle event at the
North Olmsted Park. Enjoy entertainment by the ThrillerBMX team and the St.
Edward High School Trash Talkers percussion group. Explore our Bike Village,
talk to bike experts with safety tips, helmet fittings and information on local
rides, trails, rentals and biking resources. Kids are welcome to decorate their
bicycles at our bike decoration station, and be sure to sign everyone up for the
5K bike ride that will begin and end at North Olmsted Park, kicking off around
noon. At the conclusion of the ride, stick around in North Olmsted Park for the
Community Council/Kiwanis community picnic!

military biopic centers on legendary sniper
Chris Kyle, who amassed a record number

All persons 60 and older are welcome to join us for lunch. A reg-
istration form must be completed and can be obtained at the
front desk. Once this has been completed and is on file, you may
sign up for any lunches that you choose. Please contact the
center for more details! This program was made possible by a
Grant from the Ohio Department of Aging through the Western
Reserve Area Agency on Aging. Please acquire your lunch ticket
at the sign in desk and be in your seats no later than 11:30am.

July Hot Lunch Menu
Please be aware that each individual is responsible for making his / her
own lunch reservation. Due to a limited amount of lunches that will be
ordered, reservations will not be made over the phone. Sign-up is always
one week in advance as the reservations are called in to the caterer on
Thursdays at noon.

Wednesday, July 1st - SUMMER MYSTERY TOUR Here is a trip that is a Mystery, part scenic, part sightseeing and part history. Don't bring your bathing suit, but you still might get wet. And we can guarantee you will not be boarding a jet. Lunch is included, but you can bring a snack. Travel light and you'll travel further, so watch what you pack. You won't need a passport, but you will need proper ID. And bring your camera, because theres lots to see.

Enjoy a narrated two-hour cruise aboard the Lockport Locks and Erie Canal that pass-
es through historical sites and five original 1825 locks. You will also be raised and
lowered 50ft. In the only double locks on the Erie Canal. Buffet lunch is Canalside at
the casual, yet elegant Veranda banquet room (tax/tip included) then a stop at the
Made in America Store.
