NOTICE TO RESIDENTS TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

9th August, 2017

Dear Resident

Plot Works Pty Ltd has been awarded the contract to complete Hallett Cove Foreshore Upgrade – Stage 5 Amphitheatre.

We are writing to advise you that work will be commencing on Monday 14th August, 2017 and anticipate completion by 30th December 2017, during this time the traffic will be slightly impacted.

Throughout this project we will maintain two-way traffic with speed restrictions to Heron Way, however in approximately the 2nd week of September to mid October we will initiate the attached Traffic Management Plans. This will involve temporary traffic lights and a detour for traffic from the Northern end of Heron Way.

The bus stop for service 683 will be closed at stop 59 and passengers will be required to use stops 58 or 60 during the course of this project. For more information or any concerns regarding the bus service interruptions please contact Lonsdale Customer Service on 81862888.

We will endeavour to minimise any disruption to residents due to construction works during this time and apologise for the inconvenience works may cause.

Notes :- This Traffic Management Plan was developed by competent and experienced persons and in accordance with the

requirements outlined in Australian standard - AS1742.3. Before the commencement of Routine Services or anyOrdered Works Altus will carry out a Risk Assessment and develop controls, measures and plans to identify, eliminate or mitigate any hazards.

- This Plan was developed to allow for the safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the worksite,the protection of workers from passing traffic, the provision for access to properties located within the limits ofthe worksite, the implementation, maintenance and removal of any necessary temporary roadways and detours,the provision of traffic controllers, the installation of temporary signs, temporary road delineation, and any othersafety measures or controls such as safety barriers when required.

- Altus Traffic does not accept responsibility for compliance of this plan when implemented or monitored by externalparties. On request Altus Traffic will provide people, materials, resources and systems to properly perform theservices related to the implementation of the traffic management plan.

- Altus Traffic Controllers will wear high-visibility outer garments and the appropriate Personal Protective Equipmentcomplying Australian OH&S Standards. All vehicles used in traffic control operations will be equipped with theappropriate vehicle mounted warning devices, first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

- This plan is not to scale and is a representation only after a worksite traffic management checklist is completed on site changes may be made by accredited persons. All amendments will be outlined and recorded in a worksite diary.
