• Great project locations: Neighbours include Kaminak Gold, Silver Quest, Ryan Gold, Golden Predator, Atac Resources, Strategic Metals, and Constantine Metal Resources

• Initial exploration programs recently completed on more than 50% of the property portfolio

• Significant alteration and mineralization typically associated with gold mineralization identified at a number of locations

• Assay results expected in Q4, significantly delayed due to extreme backlogs at the west coast assay labs

• Management has history of success and is determined to DISCOVER AGAIN.

Alaska Gold Deposits• Alaska attracted an earlier influx of exploration money for bedrock gold• This exploration resulted in numerous significant gold discoveries over the

past two decades• Donlin Creek 31.7 million ounces (2.9 g/t Au)• Fort Knox (Kinross) 9.2 million ounces (.93 g/t Au)• Pogo (Teck) 5.6 million ounces (18.9 g/t Au)• Cleary Hill 1.6 million ounces (34 g/t Au)• Pebble 66.9 million ounces (.35 g/t Au + .76% Cu)• Livengood 10.6 million ounces (.83 g/t Au)

• Just these 6 deposits total 125 million ounces of gold

Non-Placer Yukon Gold Deposits• Dublin Gulch (Victoria Gold) 6.3 million ounces• Golden Saddle (Kinross) 1 million ounces• Red Mountain (AM Gold) 1.3 million ounces• Coffee (Kaminak) 8 gold zones discovered• Rackla (Atac) Several significant discoveries• Golden Predator Numerous discoveries

Total gold resources of approximately 10 million ounces or less than 10% of the major gold deposits in Alaska

Yukon History• First Yukon Gold Rush commenced in 1898 although gold was discovered

years earlier• Reported gold production over 110 years has totalled 20 million ounces,

most of it in the first few years• Placer gold mining continues today with new placer areas still being

discovered • Historically placer deposits have been small labour intensive operations• Currently there are some 140 placer gold operations• Virtually every ounce of Yukon gold was mined without touching bedrock

and had been transported from its bedrock point of origin by erosion• No significant sources of gold in bedrock were ever discovered until recent

times

Yukon Gold Rush 2011

• New techniques and a higher gold price are driving the GOLD RUSH• Underworld’s discovery purchased at a premium early by Kinross• Numerous other VERY significant NEW gold discoveries have been announced

in the last year• Massive staking and exploration rush throughout the Yukon for the sources of

the extensive placer gold• New geological understanding and techniques are revolutionizing exploration

in the Yukon• Record exploration programs underway by some 150 companies and the

staking rush continues

Placer Gold and Gold in Bedrock

• 30,000 ounces of placer gold mined to-date and alluvial mining continues in the valley.• Recently Victoria Gold outlined 4.8 million ounces of gold in the indicated category and

1.5 million ounces of gold in the inferred category on the ridges above the placer mining operation. Other discoveries being evaluated.

• It is still unclear how much of the placer gold was sourced from the nearby deposit but certainly this large deposit contributed some of the gold. There are numerous other placer operations in the area including on the Goldspike Clear Creek properties.

Goldspike Property Portfolio• 40 properties at various locations throughout Yukon• More than 5,000 claims covering some 250,000 acres or 1000 square

kilometres • Each property is focused on a specific gold exploration target generated on

the basis of known geochemistry, geology, geophysics, historic placer mining and historic exploration work

• The portfolio of projects was developed and acquired by seasoned Yukon veterans including long-time residents, prospectors and a former senior government geologist using government and proprietary information

• Most properties in the portfolio have little or no exploration history• Most have significant multi-station gold or multi-element geochem anomalies• Many have a history of placer gold mining on the property or downstream of

the property

Corporate Mandate• Complete rapid evaluation of the portfolio of 40 Yukon gold exploration

projects• Find partners for a portion of the portfolio thereby giving shareholders

further early exposure in 2011-2012 at no cost to Goldspike shareholders• 16 property farm-out option deals completed with work completed on

most optioned land in 2011 (results pending)• Majority of properties received initial evaluation in 2011 (results pending)• Evaluate results and lay the groundwork for further follow-up in 2012• Review new acquisitions• Maintain a pipeline of projects

Managed for SuccessBusiness model ensures:

• Maximum Yukon exposure• Minimum dilution• Protects Goldspike shareholders through back-in rights• Provides cash and significant share positions in optionees• Increases exploration rate for the portfolio• Provides significant ownership in Goldstrike Resources if

options continue• Leverages human resources that are critical to short-term

exploration success• Long history of exploration successes will lead to more success

Key Reasons For Yukon Focus• 20 million ounces of gold produced from placers to-date• No history of significant bedrock source for the world renowned placer

gold mineralization• No real history of methodical exploration for bedrock gold• Extremely high NEW GOLD DISCOVERY rate since 2009• New Yukon government initiatives and new gold discoveries have caused a

NEW YUKON GOLD RUSH• GOLDSPIKE opportunity was developed by veteran Yukon explorer group

(original Coffee creek explorers)• New techniques and geological understanding allow quick screening for

bedrock sources of gold• Vast underexplored territory• Excellent address for exploration as ranked by the Fraser Institute

Clear Creek Area Properties• Initial exploration completed on all 9 properties• Numerous historic and active placer operations • Neighbours: Victoria Gold, Golden Predator, Ryan Gold, AM Gold• Exploration programs on Oliver and Arizona properties completed by

optionee, Goldstrike Resources• Drilling underway just west of Josephine Property by Golden Predator• Excellent geochemistry and known gold tin tungsten arsenopyrite

mineralization in the area• Victoria Gold moving Eagle toward production and exploring westward

toward Goldspike’s Goodman Project
