Our 114th Little Pictures Show and Sale opens this month, be sure to spread the word and bring your friends to our festive opening receptions, extended gallery hours, and *new* special Angell’s Lane events and tours in the evenings, sprinkled throughout the exhibition calendar! If the past few years are any indication, the Little Pictures Show and Sale will open to record attendance and record sales again. Last year 118 juried artists members participated in the show, providing beautiful artworks at very small prices, much lower than an artist’s selling price. Our artist members prepare up to one year for this exhibition and sale and make contributions to the Club by making the work so accessible for purchase. We look to our patron members and our public friends to buy art and thereby support the Club gallery program in a similar way. The Little Pictures Show and Sale represents an integral part of our gallery program revenue, and an abundant amount of volunteer and staff effort goes into producing and installing this beloved historic show. This show celebrates the magical exchange and diversity of our artist and patron membership coming together. We are reminded how making art, supporting art programs, and collecting art is at the core of the purpose of the Club.
