The program awards residents and visitors alike who shop in Mineral Wells this upcoming holiday season. Beginning on November 1 st , shoppers at the participating 52 businesses will be able to have their card stamped for a chance to win one of three shopping sprees. Shoppers can pick up a card at any of the participating busi- nesses or at the Chamber. After having a completed card stamped for $300.00 worth of purchases, they can drop it off for a chance to win one of three grand-prizes awarded on De- cember 23 rd . This year there will be seven drop off locations for completed cards. The cards must be turned in by noon on December 23 rd , for the drawing at 3:00 pm the same day. In addition to the grand prizes of $1,500, $750, and $500 shopping sprees, there will also be a weekly drawing for $25.00 gift certificates to participating businesses. A weekly award will be given to recognize the merchant that is going the extra mile in pro- motion of the Shop Local pro- gram and their business. The Chamber is proud to announce that the 3rd Annual Crazy Fossil Dig will be November 2, from 10am-2pm. With help from the Dallas Paleonto-logical Society (DPS) and the City of Mineral Wells we hope to make this year’s fossil dig bigger and better! Join us at the park for fossil hunting fun for all ages!

Christmas at Clark Gardens is right around the corner! November 30 and December 7, 14, 21 the gardens will be lit up throughout as we celebrate the Christmas season.
