Nuclear Sciences and Applications exhibit between buildings A and C

Fusion and plasma physicist Richard Kamendje will discuss how the energy from

nuclear fusion can help mitigate the negative impact of energy production on

climate change and the environment. The IAEA’s support of nuclear fusion

research will be explored, such as the ground breaking ITER project on controlled

fusion energy production. Then, IAEA Nuclear Fusion journal manager, Sophia

Le Masurier, will present information on the journal and talk about its

contribution to the dissemination of fusion research. The event will conclude with

a question and answer session with both presenters.
