Alex Nunez is an experienced media and content strategist, content marketer and editorial professional with a love for great brands, a passion for engaging readers, and a track record of building audience through storytelling and smart editorial direction.

Alex joined Ketchum in 2015 after spending the last two-and-a-half years as the director of RoadandTrack.com, the digital counterpart to Road & Track magazine. As digital editor-in-chief for Road & Track, he launched a fully redesigned website on a new content management system, establishing a fresh voice, tone and content strategy. Under his stewardship, the magazine’s traffic and social media metrics grew at an unprecedented pace. Facebook audience increased by 10 times, Twitter following more than tripled and year-over-year traffic to the magazine’s website increased more than 100 percent.

Prior to Road and Track, he spent eight years in different editorial positions at Autoblog.com and served as the senior automotive editor at ConsumerSearch.com.

At Ketchum, Alex is Hyundai Motor America’s public relations representative for the northeastern United States, and he also works on Ketchum’s Michelin team. He serves as Hyundai’s primary media contact for the Northeast, working with automotive journalists in the Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. metro areas. Alex is also responsible for organizing and executing model launches and vehicle events in that extended region. For Michelin, he is part of the team developing, executing and promoting campaigns about the brand’s safety initiatives, new products and performance / motorsports heritage.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from the University of Miami. He is a member of the International Motor Press Association, the New England Motor Press Association and the Washington Auto Press Association.
