Current Project Engagement World Class Tomato Growing & Processing Facility in Lebowakgomo Region , Limpopo – South Africa

Development of Agricultural Tomato Produce and Agro - Processing Tomato

Paste FacilitiesProject Background

Operations will include two Sub - Divisions namely Agronomy (Tomato Farming)and Agro –Processing Plant (Tomato Paste Factory). These operations will utilizeworld class international green technologies, to ensure total quality tocustomers whilst attention to details and continuous improvement practices willbe amongst other applicable operational functions to ensure customersatisfaction.

Production Parameters:

The core products include Fresh tomatoes, Tomato Paste/ Puree andConcentrate [(26 – 28 HB & CB) + (36 – 38 HB & CB)]

Production capacity per annum from Agronomy operations of Fresh Tomatoeswould be 80,000 tons pa full capacity.

Production capacity per annum from process plant operations Tomato Paste /Puree’ & concentrate 5,300 HB and 4,700 CB tons pa full capacity.

Project Technical Expertise:

Tomato processing expert; provide expert inputs into the preparation of thetomato pasting plant performance specification (PFD, preliminary equipmentdefinition and sizing); participate in the evaluation of proposals received fromOEMs, site visits to shortlisted OEMs; provide BFS report inputs

Project Financials

Set up financial model for the project; populate the model with CAPEX and OPEX data for infrastructure and processing plant received from the engineers and market and operational data; run various scenarios and carry out sensitivity analyses; develop project cash flows and return parameters; provide BFS report inputs
