Lo Studio AMeBE e’ uno studio di Design Interdisciplinare, fondato nel 2008 dalle giovani designers Alessandra Mantovani e Eleonora Barbareschi.
Lo studio, con base in Italia e vincitore di diversi premi internazionali, respira costantemente le diversità del proprio paese, la sua stimolante complessità, la ricchezza della varietà e l’inestimabile potenziale della sua creatività, facendosi portatore di quello stile Italiano che fa la differenza in termini di innovazione, originalità e qualità.
Il nome “AMeBE”, oltre ad essere l’acronimo di Alessandra Mantovani e Barbareschi Eleonora (A+M e B+E), si ispira all’ameba, affascinantissimo organismo caratterizzato da continue evoluzioni. Il termine Ameba o meglio Amoeba, deriva infatti dal greco antico “cambio, trasformazione”.

A partire da un’accurata Analisi&Ricerca e un'attenta pianificazione dello scenario di progetto, lo Studio AMeBE propone, studia, progetta e realizzare i format ed elementi di progetto necessari per l'apertura, lancio e/o continuità della nuova attività / attività esistenti / nuovi prodotti in funzione di una gestione ordinaria dinamica ed efficace.
La definizione dell'entità del progetto richiesto (es. small, medium, large) viene elaborato e definito insieme al Cliente. Elementi come tempistiche, risorse esistenti e/o materiali esistenti a disposizioni sono fondamentali nella stesura del preventivo e nel definire la tipologia di accordo-servizio, e per garantire tempistiche di consegna.

THE FOUNDERS
“We love giving birth to ideas that stimulate the sphere of feelings and emotions, while bringing irony and a critical perspective.”
The AMeBE, Alessandra Mantovani (1983) and Eleonora Barbareschi (1984), after several work experiences in Italy and abroad, decide to move back to Italy in July 2008 starting their own independent design studio.
Soon after the beginning of their collaboration, the product Finger-Dip, mono-use food-grade latex finger caps (designed and produced by the AMeBE) baptized their entrance in the design world. The products were entirely sold out and the AMeBE were awarded the Red Dot Product Design Award.
Among some satisfactions, collaborations with artist-designer Gaetano Pesce, with the Italian international design brands as RIVA1920, MODO and SELETTI, the Chinese furniture factory ADWIN, and different design awards as the Fedrigoni Top Awards, the Torino Digital Festival, or the Red Dot Concept Design Award in Singapore, all representative of the the AMeBE's interdisciplinary approach to design.
In 2016 the AMeBE present «Cupola, and light it was» a hyper-realistic reproduction of Saint Peter Basilica's dome in Rome, a lamp which blends craftsmanship and technology, a limited-edition lamp for Art and Design collectors, characterized by a strong poetic and emotional feel;
