OBAMAS GHANAIAN ARRIVAL THE PRAYER THATSTOPPED RAIN

Heavy rain was falling on the day of President Obamas historic visit to Ghana butceased a few hours prior to his arrival, apparently due to divine intervention.

Ghanaians awoke on Friday morning to dark

skies and a gloomy forecast on the day theyhad anxiously anticipated. It appeared the celebrations in lieu of the longawaited arrival of President Obama would besomewhat tamed by the unpredictable weather, with rain falling incessantly. However, as Fridayevening approached, soon to the appointedhour for the presidential arrival, the rainsuddenly subsided to the joy and relief of all.Reports suggest that divine involvement mayhave influenced the weather change.

Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria, andmentor to Ghanaian president, John Evans Atta Mills, had earlier sent a message to Ghanaiansthat the rain would soon cease, and nothing would hinder Obamas historic visit. He furthersaid that the memorable visit would be a success for Ghana, and Africa as a whole. Hoursafter his declaration and following supplication, the rain ended. In neighbouring Nigeriahowever, the downpour continued with increased venom.

It would be recalled in March 2005 during a crusade in Botswana that Prophet TB Joshuaprayed for rain to fall. As at that time, Botswana was in a period of severe drought, adverselyaffecting their farming industry, integral to the nations infrastructure. As he offered theprayer, rain instantly began falling a divine sign of changes in the nations climate. Since

that time, rain has fallen recurrently.

TB Joshuas prayers are also said to have played a part in Ghanas recent presidentialelections, with John Evans Atta Mills winning unexpectedly in a closely contested vote. AttaMills has been a regular visitor to Joshuas church in Nigeria, even receiving healing from adeteriorating eye problem set to ruin his political ambitions. Immediately following hisinauguration, Mills visited The SCOAN for a thanksgiving service where he testified that Joshuahad accurately prophesied specific details of his remarkable three-round election victory.

Obamas visit to Ghana has further solidified their status as a thriving democratic country in acontinent fraught with electoral fraud and political violence.
