Objective: By the end of this lesson, I will be able to complete a T-chart comparing two different atomic models. Engage: Describe Bohr’s Atomic Model. Include the following information in your description. Location of protons, neutrons, and electrons in the model. How you determine the number of protons, neutrons and electrons when using the model to describe an atom of an element.

Engage:Describe Bohr’s Atomic Model. Include the following information in your description.

Location of protons, neutrons, and electrons in the model.

How you determine the number of protons, neutrons and

electrons when using the model to describe an atom of an

element.

You must complete a new table on your handout for each Quantum Game Board displayed.

For Quantum Game Board Examples 1, 2, and 3, you must copy a portion of the diagram and list all the Rules Followed when placing the arrows onto the game board.

For Quantum Game Board’s A, B, C, D, E, and F you must first decide and circle if the board is an example or non-example and then list the Rules Followed for each board.

For any Quantum Game Board that is a non-example, you must also list any Rules Broken.

Game Board: A

Circle One: Example Non-Example

Rules Followed: Rules Broken:
