• Every day I have to go to my University. Normally it looks like this from the inside:

This is the logo and its name!

Page 3: Observation Lab

• Although today it looked like this:I asked some people what was happening, and they told me that inside the university was being built like a big tent. The reason is that some parents of new students are invited to have a breakfast on the weekend.

Today was a really hot day & you could see the workers sleeping there!

Page 4: Observation Lab

Also today was the graduation of some students…

So they were wearing really elegant clothes and their families were taking some pictures of them with the university on the background.

The enchanted stairs

• Here are some stairs (didn’t take the photo) that are famous, because the myth is that if you fell down there, you won’t graduate.

From the outside…

• This is how it looks from the outside, there’s always a lot people, due to the new university’s policy:

This policy makes me really happy, I don’t like the smell of cigarettes in the atmosphere, and also I found annoying when the smell gets impregnated in your ----

This is me there!

Page 8: Observation Lab

The store has no

The colors are showy

WIt also has a cute bear inviting you in

The store sells Ice Cream!! Of Course I was excited to go inside, it looksd delicious.

Page 9: Observation Lab

• The was pretty bright I think

that it made me feel nice, in a good mood

for ice cream!

• And as you saw in the I took, the

was organized, clean and the environment is

quite relax. No no noises!

The waS at the end of the line,

the store is a self-serve

I didn’t see any security system, nor a nor a

The was not there to bother you asking ¿?

and asfixiating you (I don’t like when they

approach me) So you only ask for their help if

you don’t know how the . works!

• It’s been said that Colombian coffee is one of the best coffees of the world!

This store is called Juan Valdez, the coffee is particularly good, I love it! You can found there varieties of coffees, pastries and even clothes!

Page 12: Observation Lab

• While I was there, I found out that a lot of

foreigners go to this store to drink some quality

. … Unfortuntely, the salespeople didn’t

speak English, so for them wasn’t easy to

communicate with those clients.

• In the waiting line I met a from

that wanted a latte, but the cashier wasn’t

able to help here, so I had to ask and

translate her order.

On Friday night I went out with my friends, to a craft brewery….

Page 14: Observation Lab

My friends and me!• We decided to

drink a seasonal beer, which was really good! What I love about this establishment is the music (soft rock) but sometimes it’s so loud that you can barely speak or

listen to others.

Page 15: Observation Lab

• The common thing that I found in the last 2 stores I visited, is that the waiting lines to get inside the establishment or to ask for a product were too long. They should make something to entertain the clients while they are waiting (like give out some free samples, or some advertisement with disccounts, hire a clown ;) or an entretainer, etc.) or they should create a way to serve more efficiently. Otherwise they will start losing clients that are not paccient at all!

• As a client you want to feel that your contribution is important to the store.
