(social) distancing an opportunity for encounter, care and promotion. “What we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20), the mercy we
have experienced, can thus become a point of reference and a source of credibility enabling us to recover a shared passion for
building “a community of belonging and solidarity worthy of our time, our energy and our resources” (Fratelli Tutti, 36)

Sacrament Information/Informacion de Sacramentos
Infant Baptism: A preparation program for parents and godparents is required. Once paperwork is submitted, we will register you for preparation and schedule the date for Baptism. Bautismo de niños menos de 7 años: Una programa de preparación es requerida para los padres y padrinos. Cuando llevan la acta de bautismo y información de los padrinos a la oficia, les registramos para la preparación y ponemos fecha por el bautismo.
First Reconciliation & First Eucharist: Customarily the reception of these sacraments takes place during 2nd grade. The child will need to have completed one year of religious education the year immediately prior to sacramental preparation and will continue in religious education concurrent with the preparation classes. Primera Reconciliación y Primera Eucarisita: Normalmente reciban estos sacramentos en grado 2. Confirmation: Candidates must be in the 7th grade or above to be confirmed. Anointing of the Sick: Please contact the parish office to arrange visitation and sacraments. You may leave a message any time of day or night and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Marriage: Please call the Parish Office at least six months in advance to begin the preparation process. You will set the date for the wedding at the first meeting. Registration is not required to attend Mass.
Before attending Mass please self-screen with the following- In the last 14 days, have I:
• Been exposed to a person with COVID-19 without the cor-rect personal protective equipment?
• Had a temperature of 100.4 degrees or above?
• Had new or increased shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
• Had a new cough?
• Had at least two of the following symptoms together: chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, vomiting, runny nose, congestion or fatigue?
If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, you are not eligi-ble to attend Mass. Please contact your medical provider for care. The dispensation to attend Sunday Mass has been extended by Archbishop Etienne until the pandemic is over. Mass is livestreamed every Sunday at 11 a.m. (Mass Times on Holy Days and special Masses will be announced). To attend Mass online, go to https://www.facebook.com/stroselongview. You do not need a Facebook account to join our livestreams. You will be able to see them by going to our page (which you can access without an account) and scrolling down until you see the live video. Spanish Mass is also livestreamed at 6 p.m—the homily is in both languages.
