Orientation to Classroom Management Checklist
BPSS-118 (2/01)
Instructions:After completion of the orientation requirements,
the checklist must be completed and signed. A copy of this
checklist must be given to the teacher and a copy must be retained
in the teacher's file for review by Department staff upon
request.
The following topics must be covered at an introductory level
within four weeks from the date of employment at the school:
( Adult learning styles
(Attendance records
(Introduction to syllabi
(Grading
(Writing lesson plans
(Discipline
(Testing
(Licensing requirements
In addition to the Orientation to Classroom Management, a
teacher may be required to complete other professional education
courses as required to maintain licensure with the Department.
I declare and affirm that the above topics have all been
presented as required.
