The New Home of Jim Pattison Volvo of North VancouverJim Pattison Volvo of North Vancouver has found their new home last October 2016. The dealership moved to a new location at 1765 Marine Drive, just east of Capilano Road. The change was a result of both The Jim Pattison Auto Group and the Volvo brand’s goal to continually evolve globally and innovate, while maintaining their core values and continually keeping their clients happy with the Customer Experience that they offer.

Meeting the newest Volvo Retail Experience facility guidelines, the new place is more conveniently situated in a central location allowing the dealeship to expand their market and grow with their existing clients’ needs. This new, state-of-the-art facility was “designed around the Volvo customers” so that everyone will receive the same high quality of services that they have come to expect.

Movember ChallengeRaising awareness for men’s health done in style. The gentlemen at Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey participated in Movember and grew their mo(ustaches) in support of tackling men’s health. A small gesture can go a long way as the team aims to address some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

‘Tis the Season of GivingChristmas, and the months surrounding it, is a time for giving, and at The Jim Pattison Auto Group, everyone did just that by helping those truly in need during this blessed season. We are truly proud of everyone and their generosity.

HAMPERS FOR SURREY WOMEN’S CENTREJim Pattison Hyundai Surrey joyfully prepared hampers full of essential toiletries for the beautiful women at Surrey Women’s Centre. CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE AND EVERGREEN PROGRAMJim Pattison Toyota Downtown conducted a Toy Drive in December where 50 new toys were donated to the Fairmont Christmas Wish Breakfast for kids in need. Additionally, in partnership with Toyota Canada, Jim Pattison Toyota Downtown donated 2 cheques to Lord Roberts Elementary School and Southlands Elementary School as part of the Toyota Evergreen Program which was developed in 2000 that aims to assist children in elementary schools by providing outdoor learning opportunities. GIFT OF WARMTHWhat is the best gift you can give someone in this frigid season called Winter? Jim Pattison Toyota Northshore and Jim Pattison Lexus Northshore have the answer: The Gift of Warmth. With the success of their test drive program in December which donated Gift of Warmth packages (warm blanket, warm socks, and hand warmers) for every customer test drive, North Shore Lookout Society received 150 gifts which greatly helped those who are struggling to keep themselves warm this winter.

GIVING BACKJim Pattison Volvo of North Vancouver lends out their hand this season by gathering necessary goods such as clothing and non-perishable food items. They then toured around the Vancouver Downtown area and donated it all to help out our city’s homeless population.

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVEWith the holiday-giving season in full swing, Frontier Toyota realized how important it is to continue giving back to the community. In December, they proudly accepted donations for Winnipeg Harvest and matched all the donations made to their bins pound for pound.

A Day of BeautyJim Pattison Hyundai Surrey was a proud sponsor of the annual Bra Day event that was held last October at the Surrey Women’s Centre which aimed to show respect and uplift women’s dignity. Women of all sizes and those who cannot afford to buy a bra were helped through this event. Women were welcomed and entertained over tea and snacks. There was a free bra fitting performed by professional bra fitters who made sure the guests will feel more comfortable in the future after knowing their correct sizes. Free bras and goodies were distributed and this was very much appreciated by the guests. This event was certainly a gesture to make the women feel beautiful inside and out.

Congratulations to Kevin Jickling of Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria and Gerry Plana of Jim Pattison Subaru Northshore for their respective 3rd place and 4th place finishes in the 19th Subaru Canada Master Technician Competition last October 15, 2016 held at Mississauga, Ontario. They were part of the 12 finalists from across Canada who competed in a total of four challenges, including a written examination, vehicle diagnosis, engine measurements, and electrical circuit design. We are proud of you both!

Best Audi dealership I’ve ever dealt with. Came in for a general service, and was greeted by extremely helpful staff that undertook solving the issues I had immediately. When I went to pay for my bill, the sales rep took everything and called Audi’s Canadian head office to ensure that I was getting as many things covered by them as possible. What started as a $600 service ended up being just under $150. I’ve been to 3 Audi dealerships now (in Ontario and Alberta) and I can say hand on my heart that this is without a doubt the best Audi dealership, and probably the best car dealership in the entire country. I would strongly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for quality customer service. Will definitely be coming back. – Morgan H.I’ve only ever dealt with these guys for parts, but they have been fantastic. Prices are fair, and they have a really good selection in stock. Both Andrew and Ryan have been extremely quick at responding to messages and have gone above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the right parts. Ryan has even offered to drop off a $50 part on the south side of the city for me on own time. That kind of service isn’t something I’ve found anywhere else. Highly recommend these guys.

Lee & Bill have been my source of OEM parts for many many years now. Parts have always been correct, on time and reasonably priced. When I’ve needed service on my Subaru’s, they’ve been repaired properly, done right the first time and for reasonable rates (as far as dealerships go). Even been chauffeured around a few times! For sales, never bought anything myself there but Geremy’s very knowledgeable and friendly to deal with there. Not the biggest dealer as far as size but I think sometimes that’s good as it keeps quality control closer.

In 2008 I leased a Toyota Yaris, in November of 2016 I was contacted by Toyota Canada to see if I was able to come in for some recall work on the Yaris, as I had never had any issues with my little car I had not worried about it, but I decided it was probably time to visit and get the work done as well as a coolant flush, while waiting in the dealer showroom I saw a nice 2016 Toyota Corolla, $1500 off the original price and 0% financing. I was able to get a good trade in for the Yaris and left that day with a new Corolla. I am a fan of the Toyota brand and have always found the service department par excellence!

I recently leased a 2016 Highlander from Simon. I highly recommend dealing with Him. Simon was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I’m 64, have shopped for a new vehicle 3 other times in my life and found it stressful each time. There is so much to decide and I don’t want to leave feeling like I haven’t received the best deal possible. Today my wife and I completed the process of buying a vehicle from Jim Pattison’s, Victoria, our first time here. Each step of the way I felt respected, even though I was anxious, and my requests and questions were met with sincere answers. Abdul Villa gave us inside info on a sale, Chris Kennedy moved the transaction to a mutually satisfying conclusion, Murray Donais added value to our purchase. It was three hours from test drive, through negotiation to insurance adjustment and it felt like we were their very first customers. We were specifically looking for comfortable seats for my wife’s back, so Gordon let us take the car out on an extra-long test drive so that we could be confident that we were happy with our purchase. Overall, we had a very positive experience while purchasing this vehicle at Jim Pattison, Surrey. From the layout of the facility, the coffee and the hello we received when we first arrived, we were given top notch service. To be honest, the service we got at this store was the best of all the dealerships we visited. As with any vehicle purchase we had to do our homework about the car, but there were some good promotions on at the time that enabled us to get a better
