Encompass Credit Union and Tipton County Recycling Office would like to invite the entire community to bring all of their personal and financial documents to the Corporate Office in

Tipton on October 9, 2021 between 9 a.m. and noon. You will be able to watch all of your documents be shredded

for FREE! This is the perfect way to protect yourself from identity theft. Spread the word to everyone you know! Please call 800-675-8852 ext 6119 with any questions.

We are asking that you remain in your vehicle, have your documents in a paper bag or cardboard box you do not need returned to you, and have it in the trunk

of your car for minimal contact during this event.

LET US KNOW WHEN YOU PLAN TO TRAVEL When you are making your travel plans, give us a call and let us know so we can take steps to make sure your ATM/Debit card works when you arrive. In an effort to protect our members from potential fraud, transactions everywhere outside of the United States, and a few states within the United States, will automatically be declined unless you notify the Credit Union first. We will need to know where you are going and how long you will be there. Please contact Card Services at 800-675-8852 opt 3 for assistance.

Medicare Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is just around the corner. Open Enrollment starts on the 15th of October and goes to the 7th of December.

Persons eligible for coverage:

• Seniors Age 65 and older

• Under 65 and have a Disability People automatically get Part A and Part B after they get disability benefts from Social Security or certain disability benefts from the RRB for 24 months.

• Have ALS, which is: (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also called Lou Gehrig's Disease)

• People automatically get Part A and Part B the month the disability benefts begin.

During Open Enrollment you can make the following changes.

1. Change your Rx plan Disclaimer: Stand Alone Rx plans are ofered to people Age 65 and older and also to people under 65 with certain disability or medical conditions

2. Switch from an Original Medicare Supplement to a Medicare Advantage plan option

3. Switch back to Original Medicare Supplement from a Medicare Advantage plan **Tis is not a Guarantee option under certain situations

4. Change your Medicare Advantage plan to another Medicare Advantage plan.
