You have just returned from exile shortly after the February Revolution. The Provisional Government is clearly in power and many parties are joining to form the coalition government. What would you do?

1. Join the coalition government

2. Patiently wait for the right moment to strike

The coalition government has failed to fulfill their promises and the people are suffering

The people start to withdraw their support for you, and are throwing their support for left wing parties.

3. Negotiate with Kornilov’s troops and ask them to stop

You have eliminated Kornilov’s army and Kornilov was destroyed

However, you have suffered major casualties and lost the support of the Soviets

Negotiating with them ensured a peaceful way of defeating the coup and little bloodshed

Your decision has earned the support of the people for defending against people who wanted to reinstate the old bourgeois government, and at the same time portray that the government is helpless.

You now have the support of the people. Now you need to retain the support through propaganda. What would you do?

1. Address the main problems of the people and promise to solve them
