Messaging can be accessed through a specific module or directly through a specific button while watching TV

Settings
The Settings Module enables the end user to setup an access code to restrict content access such as ive Tv programs or VOD movies which are not suitable for young viewers.
A 4 digit code has to be setup and confirmed. Any restricted content is then forbidden for viewing without the access code

Location Management
You have to set up first the location where you are deploying your terminals. It ‘s the physical location of your STB.
Those locations can be edited, modified, deleted, and categorized in Categories and Sub Categories

Network Management
Terminals are managed through the network by Max Adress avoiding IP addressing problems. When inserted , each STB is recognized through its mac address.
The STB supplies all information to the server while booting to the Octopus Server address.

In order to create different level ofadmin user access, Octopus offers a user account management enabling different access options.
Those accounts can be edited, modified, deleted very easily.

Rooms are created to put STB in them and customers.Each room can have a number and also a name.
Each room can have multiple STB identified by their IP adress and includes also PMS id sent by the PMS.

2 levels of Asset Management are available in Octopus. First all headend elements can be connected via a url to Octopus back office to have a single user interface to manage the full headend.

STB can be monitored, from a single access. You can reboot, upgrade, force and ping, one , a group or all STBs in one screen.
