G.O. Ms. No. 74 and 75, clated 27.10 2005 and re-cotlstituted vide G.O Ms No 12 & 13 datedl

25.02.2014 of the Health Seqetariat, Govelrurent of Puducherry The Health Mission aims to

improve the Plirnary Health Care selvices to the vulnerable and disadvantaged populations by

improving the service deliver-y at Sub-Centres' Primary l-{ealth Centres and Community Health

Cenlrcs thr'ongh involvencnl of com1nullilies.

2. With a view to achieve the above objective, Patient Welfare Conmittees (Rogi Kalyan

Samithis RKS ir short) weie constituted vide G O.Ms.No 7 dare& 23 02.2A07 ar the level of

Sub-Centles, Prinafy Healtl-i Centres and Comnunity Health Cenftes and the Village Health and

jtatioi Colrmittees for planning and inplementation of Health related programmes The

Govemmerlt 01.lndia. Ministiy ofHealth & Family welfare issued the guidelines and instructed to

re-structurcd existing commitlees vide Letter D O.No 7(183)/2014-NRHM-I, Dated: 28 01 2016'
