MANAGEMENT

PERTAINING TO HEALTH

In Bellary District most of the major accidental/potential hazardous industries are located at Bellary,Hospet and Sandur taluk

that too in Toranagallu and Kudithini of Sandur and Bellary taluk respectively.

At present to combat any off-site emergency in these near by area we have 1 C.H.C at Tornagallu,1P.H.C at Taranagar and one General Hospital at Sandur in Sandur taluk,1P.H.C at Gadiganur and 1 General Hospital at Hospet in Hospet taluk

And 3 P.H.Cs at Sanganakal,Moka and M.Gonal, 1 district Hospital and 1 V.I.M.S

Hospital in Bellary taluk. Instructions are given to the medical

officers of respective P.H.Cs,C.H.Cs and General Hospitals to provide medical emergencies services at the site or at the various rescue shelters or at the affected places with necessary staff, ambulance with equipments and drugs.

The same is requested to the Director and Superintendent of medical college, V.I.M.S Bellary

POST MORTEM

With the help of local bodies and Taluk Health Officers, instructions are given to the Medical Officers for the removal of dead bodies where ever it is necessary and to do the post mortem in their Hospitals or at the site after receiving inquest report from the department of police without delay.

PREVENTION OF EPIDEMIC DISEASES

To prevent the epidemic diseases we are conducting regular checkup camps.

Instructions are given to local bodies to maintain hygienic sanitation

Regular fogging is done where malaria cases are high.

Conducting Health Awareness through programs.

For every 5,000 population there is one health assistant female and for every 10,000 population there is one health assistant male. For every 1000 population in rural areas there is one ASHA.
