As per the reference 1st cited above, the postings are given as a part of compulsory

Rural / Govt. postings for the post graduate Diploma/ Degree candidates for the academic year

2012-13 for a period of one year from the date of their joining. The candidates are posted

speciality wise according to the merit ,i.e., marks obtained in the PG Diploma/ Degree exam

conducted in May/June, 2012 by Dr. NTR UHS, Vijayawada.

The candidates are instructed to download the individual posting orders from the DME

website http:// dme.ap.nic.in and report through the Principal of the concerned Medical Colleges

to the Dist. Coodinators / DMHOs/Dean/ Principal of RIMS Hospital/ Senior Incharge Medical

Officers of CHCS / Area Hospitals/Dist Hospitals, immediately and submit their joining report to

the concerned officers.

The concerned officers are instructed to forward the joining report of the candidates to

the Director of Medical Education duly marking a copy to the Principal of concerned Medical

Colleges as well as send the compliance report.

The concerned Officers are instructed to send the monthly attendance certificates of the

candidates to the Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyderabad.

The candidates entitled for casual leave of 30 (Thirty) days spread over a period of one

year and he/she is eligible for a sanction of not more than 9 (Nine) days at any point of time.

Any extension of leave beyond 9 days at a given point of time or beyond 30 days over a period

of one year, it would be treated as absence and the candidate would have to do extension

period for the number of absent days to obtain the final attendance certificate.

During the compulsory rural / Govt. service, the doctors are instructed to maintain a log

book for the entire period. They are encouraged to do project works in relation to the local, rural

and tribal health problems and bring out suitable solution which should be replicable, at the end

of the posting. The doctors are supposed to submit the log books and project reports duly

signed by the local Chief Medical Officer, DM & HOs, Dist. Coordinators, Deans/ Principals /

Director of teaching Institutions along with the attendance certificate. The final attendance

certificate will be issued by the Director of Medical Education (Academic) to be submitted to the

Registrar, Dr. NTR UHS for getting the original Diploma/ Degree certificates

The candidates are entitled for consolidated monthly honorarium payment during the

period of compulsory rural / Govt. service for a period of one year as per existing norms.

The candidates are instructed to submit the originals of the following certificates for

verification by the concerned admitting officers i.e., Principals of Medical Colleges as well as

submit a set of attested copies of the same.

1. Identification certificate (Driving Licence/ Pan card / Voter Card/ Previous College ID

card)

2. Provisional pass certificate of Diploma / Post graduate Examination.

The candidates are expected to devote whole heartedly to the work of the concerned

Hospitals and will not take up any other employment allocation, trade, business or self

employment in your own name or in the name of your family members.

The candidates are not entitled for any sort of Private practice during one year period of

compulsory rural / Govt. service.
