As with the rest of Century City, the Bridgeways Precinct has been designed to be very cyclist friendly, while Bridge Park incorporates cyclist facilities such as showers and bicycle racks on the podium of the building.
Parking is provided on site, while E-parking offers a convenient economical alternative ‘park and ride’ system for companies and their employees who require aditional parking.
Situated along Ratanga Road and on Bridgeways Boulevard, Bridge Park sits at the heart of a thriving, mixed-use precinct. The site is located directly opposite the central public square and along the attractive canal that will run through the precinct. Century City has been designed to accommodate pedestrian movement and access. This design consideration will be continued within the Bridgeways Precinct and the Bridge Park scheme.
Given the proximity along the proposed pedestrian movement network, Bridge Park tenants can easily access and benefit not only from the amenities located within the Bridgeways Precinct, but also from the shops, bars, restaurants and hotels located across Century Boulevard.

Amazing Panoramic Views
11
From within both Bridge Park West and Bridge Park East, occupants can enjoy spectacular views of Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head.
This is largely due to the fact that Bridgeway, running in front of the buildings, has been designed to align directly with a view of Devil’s Peak.
On the northern terraces and the northern sides of the upper levels of the buildings, occupants wil l be able to enjoy expansive views of Table Bay and Table Mountain.

Workplace satisfaction, collaboration and sustainability have become key office design considerations for modern corporate success. These principles have been integrated throughout the Bridge Park building designs, creating powerful and dynamic spaces focussed on the comfort of the occupier. The design ethos is carried throughout, with each building receiving generous lobbies, a full height central glazed atrium and a private enclosed forest, creating a strong design statement and dynamic workplace environment. These spaces within the buildings provide meeting points and spaces for collaboration, while within the forest areas, spaces for quiet and contemplation are provided. The design of the facades and of the glazed atriums ensures optimum light penetration throughout the office spaces, while carefully controll ing both glare and heat gain, and thus ensuring the comfort of the occupier. Secure basements provide parking at a ratio of 3,5 bays per 100 m2² of rentable area, while visitors parking and cyclist facil it ies are provided on the green podium. Additional parking is available within a few minutes’ walk.
The large floor plates, with generous column spacing, promote efficiency, flexibility and connectivity for the tenant.

Responsibility

Bridge Park East and West are designed to provide a comfortable, healthy and productive working environment for occupants, with an overall environmental strategy which encompasses transport, health, energy, water, and waste. The project is registered for a Green Star SA Office Design v1 rating. Green Star SA is a recognized green building certification system developed and operated by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA). It provides independent certification that a building has been designed and built to improve environmental and energy per formance. Through Green Star SA Rating, your organisation can achieve market recognition for the efforts to design and subsequently build a quality sustainable building. While undeniably energy-efficient, the design prioritises the comfort, productivity, and health of the occupants. Factors such as air quality and indoor pollutants, thermal comfort, adequate lighting, glare control, access to daylight and views, and sound levels have all been analysed and taken into account. Transport is one of the biggest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions in the world. In order to address this, the buildings aim to increase the use of alternatives to single user car travel. By encouraging staff to use alternative forms of transport, we will be improving access to the site and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
These green initiatives will provide a future-proofed home for your organisation.
