Mission Statement We the people of Old Mission Santa Inés, following the path
of Jesus Christ, are making His vision a reality through love, unity, justice, joy and hope.
FROM OUR PASTOR
Brothers and sisters: Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Francis of Assisi spent many years living in anxiety, seeking the true meaning of his life. He found it when he met Jesus in the poorest of the poor: a leper. Once Francis began to look for Jesus everywhere, he was able to experience true peace even in the midst of dangers and illness. I pray our Holy Father may help us here at Mission Santa Inés to encounter real peace!
While I am away for a short vacation, Fr. James will serve the parish along with our wonderful pastoral staff. You will all be in my prayers and we ask St. Francis to grant us patience and also an end to the pan-demic. May the Lord bless you and keep you always!
Fr. Bobby

Did you know? Take advantage of TikTok’s pa-rental controls The social media site TikTok has exploded in popularity during the coronavirus pandemic, with chil-dren and adults using it to connect and pass time while in quarantine. Unfortunately, apps like TikTok are often targeted by predators as easy ways to get in touch with vul-nerable children. TikTok has “Family Pairing” capabilities, which allow parents to set re-strictions on their children’s us-age. It is also important to have ongoing, open discussions with your children about how they use social media, who they “talk” to and what they share. For more in-formation about TikTok’s parental controls, visit https://lacatholics.org/did-you-know/.

NOTICIAS
