The two sides had the 4/17 series finale in Nashville rained out as well, cutting the road trip short a game. u The Sox and the Sounds will play a doubleheader on July 5th in Colorado, with the first game starting at 4:30 p.m. MT. ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN u Despite playing at the highest altitude in all of Minor League Baseball, the Sky Sox lead the Pacific Coast League in several major categories. u Colorado Springs is currently 1st in the PCL in team slugging percentage and is 3rd overall in team batting average. u The Sox also lead the hitter-friendly PCL in pitching statistics as well, topping the league in ERA, Hits Allowed, Runs Allowed and Earned Runs Allowed u This potent combination has given the Sox the best record in Triple-A Baseball, tied with the Buffalo Bisons (TOR) of the International League.
