Event Description • The ACLC Lipa will be holding an through Marketing and

Admissions Office will be holding an event dubbed as “ACLC Lipa Earth Camp 2015”. The activity is in relation with the school’s celebration of Ecology Week on March 5-7, 2015.

• The activity aims to elicit from its students a higher level of awareness on pressing environmental concerns and an active involvement in meaningful community and environmental programs.

• The participants are two hundred ACLC students grouped into 4 camps namely Camp Dagat, Camp Bundok, Camp Gubat, and Camp Hangin.

Event Description• Aside from seminars on natural resources conservation and

tree planting the three-day activity will also showcase competitions like photo-essay, essay writing, poster making, movie trailer making, and recycling.

• Team building activities like games will undertaken on the night of the first day

• The culmination day of the event will feature the pageant dubbed as Search for Mr. and Ms. Ecology 2015 and awarding ceremonies

Event Theme and Concept • “One with the Earth: Cleaner Today, Fresher Tomorrow”• Connect with the land, learn vital skills and explore pathways

towards a sustainable future. Featuring a range of green crafts, social change and ecology workshops, there will be appreciation and meditation to empower the participants to change. Plus group collaboration and live music, giving them enjoyment to connect as community and engage together. Campers work on teams to develop awareness and understanding of our environment and how to live better in harmony with the natural world.

Search for Mr. and Ms. Ecology 2015 General Guidelines

• A pair of male and female contestants from each camp shall compose the contestants of the pageant.

• The contestants will compete in the following competitions:Production Number , Talent Competition, Indigenous/ Recycled Wear

Competition , Final Interview • The contestants will be judged through ranking system. The judges shall

use numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 to rate their bets accordingly. The contestants with the least rank shall be declared as winner. A point system may be used to break ties in the results.

• The winners will receive book allowances amounting to :• Mr. and Ms. Ecology winner – 5, 000 each, 1st runner up- 3,000 each, 2nd

runner up- 2, 000 each, 3rd runner up- 1, 000 each

Internal and External Marketing

• Internal MarketingThe participants of the event are students of the ACLC

Lipa themselves so there would be minimal marketing acitivities. With the assistance of student ambassadors there would be school-wide campaign by posting announcements in bulletin boards in conspicuous places inside school premises. • External Marketing

The sponsors and other important persons will be updated through email and telephone.
