It became a foundation in 1998 through the efforts of then President Virma Vergel de Dios. Now 32 years old, it has produced 13 dynamic, hardworking, and committed presidents; 2 Area Directors, the first for the whole Philippines in the person of Donnie Salvador before it was divided into four areas, and the present Area 1 Director, Virma Vergel de Dios; two Past Vice Area 1 Directors – Donnie Salvador and Virma Vergel de Dios; Ana Mangalino Ling Carolina Llamanzares Leonor Ines Luciano Sonya G. Mathay Donnie Salvador Apolonia Sawit Consuelo Suanding Necitas Tan Alice Tanco Elvira Plana Tetangco Teresita Tongson Ma. Victoria P. Vergel de Dios Josephine W. Yao Kalinga kay Ina project The 2003 club scholars with club officers CHARTER DATE: April 1, 1971 CHARTER PRESIDENT: Elisa Abello and 1 Vice Area Secretary (for the whole Philippines) Alma Calleja. The Club has undertaken various very beneficial projects such as the Zontaville Housing (300 units) which received the “Hall of Fame Award” in the 1999 District Conference Awards, Zonta Pavilion in the National Mental Hospital, scholarships, “Kalinga kay Ina,” Z Club and Golden Z Club, medical missions, Feeding Program for the Anti-TB, entrepreneurship reflexology training (23 graduates).
