Edge Hill Students’ Union Here you can find out more about the 70 different sports clubs and societies that Edge Hill has to offer as well as volunteering, student media and large scale student events which happen each year,including the Summer Ball. In addition the Students’ Union also offers advice and represents students’views to the University. Every student automatically becomes a member of the Students’ Union whenthey start university.

Vibe Media VibeMedia is Edge Hill Students’ Union’s student media platform. VibeMedia offers many differentopportunities for students to volunteer, and gain experience of working within a media environment.

The Record LabelThe Label Recordings is the UK’s only not-for-profit university record label, which has been set up by the University to promote existing new music and to give students eyeing-up a career in thecompetitive industry some real hands-on experience. You can direct a music video, you can work inA&R, you can package a sleeve, you can organise a club night, book the band and promote it. It’s away to become an insider and get a flavour of what all the people behind the scenes really do.

The Arts CentreWhat’s on, student productions, discounts for students. The Arts Centre and the bar/ bistro is open toall students and has a mixed programme of events including theatre, comedy, film and open mic.

Edge Hill SportEdge Hill Sport operate all the campus sports facilities and student sport programmes with a range ofways for you to get involved.

International OfficeSpeak to a member of staff from the Study Abroad team about the exciting opportunities to study orwork abroad as part of your degree. Information is also available on our new Language Centre whereyou can develop your language skills whether English is your first language or not.

Information Points

Each building in use during the Open Day will have an Information Point, staffed by friendly members of staff who can help with your programme, direct you around campus and help in theevent of an emergency.

Student Guides

Student Guides are easily spotted in their bright purple tabards and are happy to help with anything tomake your Open Day visit run smoothly. Don’t forget to ask them about their Edge Hill experience.

Get help during the day

Fire Alarms

On hearing the fire alarm leave the building by the nearest available exit and assemble as directed bystaff and Student Guides. Do not return to the building until advised it is safe to do so.

Illness or Injury

In case of illness or injury please go to the nearest Information Point or the Registration area. Staff will be able to arrange first aid assistance and will call for an ambulance if required. Please report any injuries to staff at Information Points or in the Registration area.

Lost Property

If you lose an item of your belongings or find some lost property please speak to a member of staff atan Information Point who will help you in the first instance.

Toilets

Toilets (including accessible facilities) are available in each building on campus. Please ask any member of staff or Student Guide for directions.
