Welcome to Parkview Baptist Church . . . We are excited that you have chosen to worship with us today. Please help us get to know you better by providing the information requested on the Guest Registration card found in the pew racks. Then, simply place it in the offering plate later in the service. Especially for Children . . . Preschool childcare is available during the morning and evening worship services for children ages three and under. Children’s church is available for 4 years - 6th grade children during the morning worship service. Children’s church is located on the second floor of the education building in the children’s area. How to Become a Christian . . . 1. Admit you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. 2. Understand the penalty for your sin. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death…” Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” 3. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and rose again. Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 4. Receive salvation by faith in Jesus. Acts 16:31 “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Due to the weather in January, we have lost a considerable amount of our plantings and there is a need to replenish them so that the grounds will look attractive. If you would like to contribute to this need, please mark your envelope accordingly (yard care).

Pastor’s Brief

Parkview Members, attached is a brief of our business meeting this past week. Our church is spending a lot of money on several im-provements to our properties and our worship services. I ask you to pray for these projects and faithfully give to support them. A designated fund will be set up to raise money for a new key-

board for the sanctuary. $2,500-$3,000 will be needed. We voted to approve a repair job to the back parking lot.

$41,892 will be the cost. We voted to buy a new freezer for the kitchen at a cost of

$1,600 and a new refrigerator at a cost of $2,100 when it gives out.

Properties Committee reported that $7,400 was needed to pur-chase equipment for two new screens in the sanctuary. This will allow the baptistry stain glass to be seen. Additional cost will be needed for labor and installation.

7 new members were voted into our membership.
