Parentheses

• P stands for parentheses which comes first when doing Order of Operations.

Exponents

• E stands for exponents which comes after you do parentheses.

• In the equation if there are no exponents you just go onto the next step.

Multiply & Divide

• M & D stands for multiply and divide you do which ever comes next in the equation, it depends on what you do next on which ever comes next in the equation from left to right.

Add & Subtract

• A&S stands for add and subtract which is the last step in Order of Operations. Add & subtract has the same rule as multiply and divide it depends on what you do next on which ever comes next in the equation from left to right.
