About NHCE :New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE), established in 2001, a unit of the New Horizon Educational and Cultural Trust, offers quality education in both Engineering and Management programs. The college is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. NHCE has the prestigious accreditation of NBA, NAAC with 'A' Grade and ISO 9001:2008 certified Institution. Our college has also reached one more milestone by achieving Autonomous Status from the Academic Year 2015-16 by VTU and Government of Karnataka.NHCE has made efforts to provide a unique platform to showcase the innovative and creative skills of our budding engineers across the country. The college campus is situated in the IT hub of Bangalore surrounded by MNCs and IT giants such as Intel, Accenture, Capegemini, ARM, Symphony, Wipro, Nokia, JP Morgan and Cisco to name a few. NHCE has Centre of Excellence with reputed industries like Adobe,HPE, Vmware, Schnieder Electric, SAP, Quest Global, CISCO
One of the major hardships for RF design Engineers in
today's world is to handle the electromagnetic
interference (EMI) within circuits and systems due to
dynamic usage of high speed and high frequency devices.
EMC is mainly a standard can handle EMI environment,
ensure optimum design in order to minimize the
electromagnetic coupling and interference
The main objective of this seminar is to provide the
participants an insight into various techniques and
procedures required for the design of electronic systems,
which are in compliance with the EMC guidelines.
Students completing the course will be able to make good
decisions regarding board layout and system design for
EMC. Finally, exploring the different field of application
for EMI/EMC Standards is expected.
Intended Participants
The course is designed for people from academia, R&D
institutes and industry working in the field of RF,
microwaves and high frequency digital electronics which
requires design of EMI/EMC compatible circuits and
systems. The course is equally suited for professionals
and graduate students desirous of working in the
challenging EMI/EMC field.

About the DepartmentThe Department of Electronics and Communication is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The field of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one that offers a whole new world of exciting challenges and opportunities. The Department has interactive classrooms and laboratories with latest equipment for students to experiment. The Department also offers the VTU research center for Ph.D. and M.Sc. (Engg.), by research.
Objective of the Seminar
Nearly all electronic systems are required to meet
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements
before they are commercialized. For many automotive,
aerospace and industrial systems, electromagnetic
compatibility is a product safety issue as well as a product
compliance issue. .
• Simple, intermediate, and complex analysis techniques for EMI problems• Full-wave and asymptotic tecniques for EMI problems
