We are a Lloyds registered, NERS Accredited Independent Connecon Provider (ICP) who can provide Contestable Works at voltages up to and including 132kV; ulising the latest CAD,CDEG and ERACS computer soſtware. g2 Energy assisted with the planning applicaon process for a 132kV connecon to the WPD network for 26MVA ofembedded generaon. g2 Energy were also responsible for the design and build of this complete bespoke 132kV substaon project from planning through installaon and final connecon to the grid. g2 Energy were also appointed as project managers for the duraon of the project, which included site welfare responsibilies. 132kV Compound Design and Construcon works included: Civil and Electrical Design of 132kV outdoor switching compound, 132/33kV Transformer and 33kV Switch Room including all cabling and auxiliary equipment. Design work also included system studies covering voltage regulaon and harmonics, plus full Earthing system design. Supply, installaon and commissioning of all electrical 132kV and 33kV equipment and overseeing the civil build of our designs for the complete site. The 132kV substaon compound now has 5 turbines connected to it, including a 4 turbine wind farm. g2 Energy has completed all electrical design and build works on these turbines. Wind Turbine Design Works included: Geotechnical site survey, reinforced concrete foundaon design for four wind turbines, civil and electrical design of 4 Client GRP substaons and foundaons; Civil and Electrical design of a 33kV cable route; Civil and Electrical design of the Earthing arrangement Wind Turbine Construcon Works included: Installaon of 4 reinforced concrete wind turbine foundaons; supply and installaon of the turbine Earthing Soluon. Commissioning of the four client GRP substaons with a suitable foundaon; plus the supply and installaon of 4 x 33kV/690V transformers, 4 x 33kV switch fuses, and the installaon and connecon of a suitable auxiliary supply. Installaon, supply and commissioning of the 33kV cable; plus over 5000m of 33kV cable between the individual turbine substaons, feeding back into the 132kV compound.
