Brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of
the Most Holy Trinity recognizing that
we have 1 God who has revealed
Himself as 3 Persons. This is a
beautiful way to view God because it reminds us that
God is relational. God the Father is called "Father"
because of His Son. Likewise the Son is called "son"
because of his relation to the Father. And the Holy
Spirit is the bond that unites them and is poured out
into the world. Here is one of my favorite images of
the Holy Trinity created by Rublev. Made in God's
image, we too are relational. During this year of
mercy, may we have the strength and courage to
mend our broken relationships especially with God.
Next Sunday is our Eucharisitc Procession on the
Solemnity of Corpus Chrisit beginning at 7pm in our
church.
We will walk to St.Genevieve and end with
Benediction and fellowship. All are invited.
The Sunday after that (June 5th) Fr. Luis Espinoza,
our seminarian, will celebrate his first mass at 2pm.
This will be a bilingual celebration. I equate this
event to a baby taking his first steps. Please join us
for this blessed occasion and receive his first
blessing. It will be preceeded by a holy hour for
vocations on Thursday, June 2nd at 7pm in the
church.

Hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,
Hoy celebramos la Solemnidad de la
Santísima Trinidad reconociendo que
tenemos un Dios que se ha revelado
como tres Personas. Esta es una forma
hermosa de ver a Dios porque nos recuerda que Dios
es relacional. Dios el Padre es llamado “Padre” por Su
Hijo. Igualmente el Hijo es llamado “hijo” por su
relación con el Padre. Y el Espíritu Santo es el vinculo
que los une y es derramado en el mundo. Aquí está
una de mis imágenes favoritas de la Santísima
Trinidad creada por Rublev. Creados a la imagen de
Dios, nosotros también somos relacionales. Que
Durante este año de la misericordia, tengamos la
fortaleza y entereza para reparar nuestras quebrantadas
relaciones especialmente con Dios.
El próximo domingo es nuestra Procesión Eucarística
en la Solemnidad del Cuerpo de Cristo comenzando a
las 7:00Pm en nuestra iglesia. Caminaremos hasta la
iglesia de Santa Genoveva y terminaremos con la
Bendición y convivio. Todos están invitados.
El siguiente domingo (junio 5) nuestro seminarista
Luis Espinoza, celebrará su primera Misa a las 2:PM.
Esta será una celebración bilingüe. Yo comparo este
evento al de un bebe dando sus primeros pasos. Por
favor acompáñenos para esta bendita celebración y
reciban su primera bendición. Esta será precedida por
una hora santa por las vocaciones el jueves, 2 de junio
a las 7:00PM en la iglesia.
