Dear Families and Friends of Our Lady, Star of the Sea Parish,

Hot Dog Sunday was fun-filled and packed with flavorful hot dogs and delicious home-made pies. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our community together with the sharing of this meal. Thanks to all who helped!

Vacation Bible School was a wild success! Thank you to all of our volunteers and students who generously donated their time and talents to making this a special event.

Coming up in September is our annual Bake Sale following all Masses during the week-end of September 14 & 15, and our Pancake Breakfast will be on Sunday, September 22.

Religious Education’s CCD Kick-off Party and Confirmation Retreat will be held on Sunday, September 8 following the 11:00 AM Mass.

The Bible came alive for our Vacation Bible Students! This full-filled Safari- style adventure taught the importance of having a ferocious faith in God, and believing in God’s goodness in this wild life.

Scenes from Hot Dog Sunday On June 30, we gathered in the Rose Garden for our annual Hot Dog

Sunday. What a delightful afternoon—shared by so many.

Our Hot Dog Sunday was a very well-attended event.

Our team of dedicated volunteers prepared savory Hot Dogs with delicious toppings, as well as exquisite homemade desserts.

Our young parishioners thought the menu was just perfect!

Our very own VBS students delivered a heart-warming surprise for all those present at Hot Dog Sunday: The students sang and danced to their theme song “I’m Trusting You God.”
