To be considered for any main campus graduate program, please submit the following items:

• Completed application & application fee • Or apply online at post.edu/apply• A personal statement describing why you are

a good candidate for Post’s graduate program (250 – 500 words typed)

• Two letters of recommendation: one academic, one professional

• Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended

• An admission interview may be requested on an individual basis

International students must submit TOEFL orIELTS scores.

• Course offerings happen in accelerated, hybrid, eight-week modules beginning in the fall and spring of each year.

• If you need any pre-requisites, you can take them at Post.

• You may transfer in up to 9 credits from an accredited graduate program for some degrees.

• Learn theories, models and techniques of counseling with individuals, groups and families

• Explore applied research methods in human services

• Additional certificates for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Drug and Alcohol Counselor are options for students

Graduates who earn this degree are prepared to hold jobs in a wide variety of settings including mental health facilities, corrections, halfway houses, child and family service centers, and geriatric facilities.
