Rules and Regulations Every sport has its rules. There are things you can do and things you can’t do.

Read the rules for basketball. Classify what you can and can’t do.

Rules for Basketball 1. There are five players on each team. 2. You try to throw the ball into the basket. 3. You can dribble the ball. 4. You can’t jump with the ball and keep it in both hands. 5. You are permitted to pass the ball to a player on your team. 6. You are not allowed to push another player. 7. You can pivot with the ball in your hands if one foot touches the floor. 8. You are allowed to dribble a second time if you have lost control of the ball. 9. The ball belongs to the opposite team once it passes the sideline. 10. You score two points if you shoot the ball in the basket. 11. You score three points if you shoot the ball in the basket from the three-

point field goal. 12. You can’t dribble a second time after you have stopped dribbling a first time. 13. You are not permitted to run with the ball without dribbling it.

Step 2: Rules for Our New and Original Team Sport

Every sport has its rules. There are things you can do and things you can’t do. Read the rules for Baskaki.

Rules for Baskaki 14. There are five players on each team. 15. You try to shoot the hacky sack into the wastebasket. 16. You can hit the hacky sack with the inside of your foot. 17. You are allowed to pass the ball to a player on your team. 18. You can’t throw the hacky sack. 19. You are not permitted to touch the hacky sack with your hands. 20. You can’t push another player. 21. The hacky sack belongs to the opposite team if you drop it. 22. You are not permitted to bounce the hacky sack a maximum of 3 times

before you pass it. 23. You can score 5 points if you shoot the hacky sack in the wastebasket.

We wear shorts and running shoes. Our colours are purple and yellow, so we have a purple and yellow hacky sack on our net T-shirts. Our purple and yellow bandanas are practical and very sporty.

There are 5 players on each team. You need 2 wastebaskets and 1 hacky sack. The baskets are on the floor at each end of a large court. You can pass the hacky sack with your feet or your body. You can’t touch the hacky sack with your hands….
