Another academic year has come to an end. Our pupils have been engaged in a tiring but enjoyable range of activities, exciting trips, sports days, musical evenings, the end of year show and prize giving to name but a few. St Anne’s, have again, experienced another very successful year with 9 of our year 6 pupils gaining places to the County’s Grammar Schools. At KS1 all children reached the government target of level 2 in English & Maths, with 70% achieving level 3 in Maths & Reading and 30% achieved level 3 in Writing. At KS2 85% of children achieved level 5 in both Reading & Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling papers, with 15% going on to gain level 6 in the grammar paper. In Mathematics 80% achieved level 5 with a further 30% succeeding at level 6.

Prize Giving
Another fantastic performance from our pupils, we are all very proud of them. Their
effort and dedication in putting on such a fine display does them credit. Of course, a
performance such as this would not have been possible without our talented, dedicated and hardworking troupe of staff and volunteers—a big thank you to all
concerned.
We celebrated your
children’s achievements at
St John’s Church. To complement the ceremony
we were entertained by the
School Choir and the year
VI’s fond memories of their
time at St Anne’s.
Kindergarten 1 & 2
enjoyed the annual Teddy
Bear’s picnic
Kindergarten 1 enjoyed a very
successful Pirate themed
Toddle Waddle, and raised money for Barnardo’s at the
same time.
