A project about the relationshipbetween clothes and memory A majority of my clothes have
belonged to someone else before me,mainly to my family members (as farback as great great grandmother), soI became interested in the storiesbehind these garments

The Memory of My Wardrobe
If these clothes could speak, whatstories would they tell?
Project in two parts, Storytelling andAbsent Bodies
Together they form a body of work thatcombine some of the many roles ofclothing: ones wardrobe is witness topresence and also about fashioningperformance
Also an ode to the time when clotheswhere made to last, and a commentagainst fast fashion and throwawayism
A family history told through clothes

Siru Kivist: Layered Within
Fashion and over consumption References to both contemporary fashion
photography and renaissance portraiture Dressed her models in layers, to express
that awkward relationship, where thegarment is no longer a treasured object, but a burden at the back of the wardrobeof the consumer
Between the layers of the clothesKivist plays on the edges of admirationfor fashion and its critique, new andold, artificial and natural, beauty andugliness the contradictions of fashionitself
