Who’s waiting on Office Scans

From the Office Scan screen, the patient “Who is Waiting” boxes will appear

Remove portion of lunch

Lunch has all the same options as a blocked appointment. You can add a new lunch anytime, remove it, or remove a portion.

Improved calendar setup

The calendar setup has new options that allow you to customize how your templates are to be re-applied on days where existing appointments/blocks exist.

Template lunch/block must fit:

- template will be rejected it the blocked appointments from the template don’t fit on the schedule.

Adjust templated lunch/block to fit:

Lunch and blocks won’t prevent the template from inserted. They will be adjusted to fit.

Remove existing non-templated blocks/lunch:

Previously scheduled blocks/lunches that aren’t part of the template will be removed.

Shortcut for Tx Plan Notes

New shortcuts are available for the Notes field for a Tx Plan

Follow-up improvements

Scanning improvements

Particularly useful for copying a scanned document to an email.

Simply select “Copy File”, go to Outlook, and paste it. If your email program doesn’t support pasting files, you can paste it to My Documents or your desktop for easier access.

Topaz Signature

Topaz signature device allows electronic signatures

To activate the FTL to accept an electronic signature, go to Configuration – Reporting – Truth In Lending and check “Signature”

FTL – Electronic Signature

Sign and click “Accept”. Then save/print the document. The form with their signature is saved forever.

Responsible party tabs in Billing

As an alternative to the responsible party grid, the billing screen has responsible party tabs.

Late charge calculation is configurable

Fairly comprehensive options to configure the statement late charge calculation.

Insurance screen shows financial scans

View financial scans from insurance queue by selecting the “Financial” button.
