Were rallying everyone forinternational womens day!!

On March 8th we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of International

Womens Day. The core of Oxfams new Economic Justice campaign is

addressing food insecurity, supporting small-holder farmers, and working

to help those most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Women

play a critical role in feeding the world and sustaining the worlds poorest

communities, making the centennial of IWD a symbolic time for Oxfam

    America.

As we prepare to launch the EJ Campaign in May 2011, we have a unique

opportunity to organize events, energize our base, and raise awareness

around our issues during this momentous occasion. Oxfam is planning on

organizing 100 events for International Womens Day 100 events to mark

100 years of celebrating women. We expect Oxfam America Clubs to play a

crucial role in helping us to reach this goal. ContactWillfor more info.
