LogoDescription: Use Indesign program and tools to create a new logo.

Objectives : Plan and create an appealing design for a business.

Process : Sketched out and plan a design for a ne w logo.Used shapes tools to create scissors and incorporate them into the name . Chose colors that are bright and bold.

MontageDescription: Take photos and blend them into a layout with a spiritual message.

Programs: Indesign and Photoshop

Objectives: Have a well blended layout where the pictures look like they belong together. Create a meme and photo that blendwell.

Process: Decided on a thought and looked for pictures to complement the idea. Then blended the pictures to group it all together for unity. Used opacity tool to fade the photos into each other.

BrochureDescription: A two sided offset print brochure.

Programs: Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Objectives: To create a folded two sided document. Using all three Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and photoshop programs.

Process: Using the ellipses and rectangle tool. In Indesign I created the surf board. I also cut part of it out and added the waves using the pen tool. Edits were made in Photoshopand created the layout in Illustrator. The pictures are shown in order of front, middle and back.

Laird Hamilton was born and raised in Kauai Hawaii. He grew up at the beach and learned to surf at a young age. He was a natural and spent most of his days in the waves. As a young adult he started competing at some

of the most competitive events. As Laird was winning he gained experience and confidence. He started to tackle the biggest of waves and was soon known as a worldWw big wave rider. In Hawaii he placed in the top rankings as his surf career continued. Laird has been featured in many magazines, articles video and some of the most stunning photographs ever. He is one

of the most recognized names and faces in surfing. Laird has now slowed down some, as he loves spending time with his family and two daughters. He still enjoys most days on the beach teaching and hosting surf

camps.

Lessons are group taught and privately for all ages and all level of surfers. Equipment is provided to students. Surfing is a great way to get educated about the ocean and the respect for its elements. The ocean can become something you love and gain knowledge about. Surfing increases balance and strength, and build confidence in ones self. While it takes practice and can be very difficult, it is a sport most can learn and enjoy at different levels. The basic skills will be taught along with safety in the water and lots of fun along the way. All teachers and instructors are certified CPR and have many hours of experience.

FlyerDescription: Black and white promotional flyer to encourage graduates to attend leadership conference.

Programs: Indesign

Objectives: Create a flyer for graduates interested in pursuing their leadership skills for business and the future.

Process: Sketched out a plan , chose a layout and design then created it in Indesign. I designed a flyer for the target audience of college students.

WebpageDescription: Take a logo and design a web page using CSS styling and HTML..

Course: Comm 130 Visual Media,Jason Stucki

Programs: I used Wrangler Text to write the HTML and add CSS styling to create a webpage with my logo for my business.

Objectives: Add a logo into a webpage and add the approprite code to obtain the desired results for an appealing web page.

Proces : Use HTML and CSS code. Using shapes in illustrator to design the logo and dropped it into the webpage using the proper code.

ImageryDescription: Take pictures and use edit skills in photoshop.Creating a monochromatic design including text and color.

Programs: Photoshop, Indesign

Objective : Ccreate a photo using a quote that coordinates with the picture and is grouped together nicely. To brighten someone’s day.

Process: Took pictures and made edits to them in Photoshop. I created the borders to show off the color scheme along with the text. The fonts worked well together as I wanted certain words to stand out.

Event AdDescription: Event ad. To clean up andto protect the coast line and save animals from harmful trash.

Programs: I used Microsoft Word for the event ad and for the entire project. I made edits to the picture and added the text to complete the ad. All done in a simple computer program.

Objective : Invite individuals to clean up and serve intheir community.Process: To create a design for an ad that could be completed all in word, and easily accessible on most computers for transfer and ability to make copies.

Programs: I used Indesign and lllustrator to design the project.

Objectives: Make and create letterhead and business card that fit well together. To have a complete set and group for different uses in the business. To have cards and letterhead on hand as needed.Process: I sketched out a design for a business and tried to combine parts to make it whole. I used in Indesign for the logo , used the elipse tool and different fonts to achieve my results.

Program : Illustrator and Indesign

Objectives: Create a business letterhead to coordinate with a business card.Process: First I searched for an idea of what I wanted my audience to see. I wanted something to showcase my business.I created the logo in Indesign and used Illustrator for the layout. I used the elipse tool to create the flower and picked a color scheme that was bright and eyecatching.
