APPROPRIATION OF WATERFROM GROUND WATER
TAKE NOTICE that Cates Earth Sci-ence Technologies, Inc, Bismarck, ND, has submitted water permit application No. 7089 to the North Dakota Offi ce of the State En-gineer for a permit to divert and appropriate water from ground water.
The application requests a permit to ap-propriate water from ground water, utilizing point(s) of diversion located in the NW 1/4 of Section 26, Township 151 North, Range 92 West, in Mountrail County as shown on the map accompanying the application, at a pumping rate of 2,500 gallons per minute during the operating season for each year said water permit may remain in force, with an annual appropriation of 1,000.0 acre-feet of water, for industrial use.
TAKE NOTICE that written comments regarding the proposed appropriation must be fi led in the North Dakota Offi ce of the State Engineer, 900 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, North Dakota 58505-0850, by 5:00 o’clock p.m., on the 3rd day of July, 2020. The State Engineer shall consider all written comments received and prepare a recommended decision which will be provided to the applicant and any person who fi led written comments. Those persons may fi le additional comments with the State Engineer, request an adjudicative proceed-ing on the application, or both.

CITY OF PALERMO MINUTES6/2/2020
Mayor called the meeting to order. Minutes from the last meeting were
read. Motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Michael Hamers, seconded by Kenny Meckle. Motion carried.
Old Business:Mick Corcoran put some gravel on the
soft spots on Washington Ave.The City is looking for someone to fi x a
small patch on Broadway St.It was decided to get a few estimates on
the cost of siding the City Building.New Business:Robert Hamers attended the meet-
ing and was inquiring about getting some 15mph signs and No Truck signs for up by his house on Broadway St.
Talked about the possibility of having all the dogs in town licensed.
Jim Conklin was at the meeting to give a quote on redoing the fl oor inside the City Building. Motion to hire Jim was made by Michael Hamers, seconded by Kevin Mar-mon. Motion carried.
One of the backboards at the City Park is broken. The Auditor will be looking at getting a different kind so they don’t get brittle and break.
Motion to pay the bills was made by Kenny Meckle, seconded by Kevin Mar-mon. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn was made by Mi-chael Hamers, seconded by Kevin Mar-mon. Motion carried.
The next meeting will be July 7, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
