REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS On or about June 18, 2020, the Chippewa Cree Tribe will submit a request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of funds for the following project: MT 11-50 Senior Citizen Housing IHBG201CMT06460. To undertake a project known as MT 11-50 for the purpose of construction of Thirty-One (31), two (2) bedroom elderly housing units to include water, sewer, site work, roads and street infrastructure on Upper Box Elder Road, east of Rocky Boy Health Center. FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT The Chippewa Cree Tribe has determined that the project will have no significant impact on the human environment; therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) is not required. Additional project information is contained in the Environmental Review Record (ERR) on file at Chippewa Cree Housing Authority at 75 Laredo Road, Box Elder, Montana, 59521, and may be examined or copied Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENTS Any individual, group or Agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the Chippewa Cree Housing Authority. All comments received within the fifteen (15) day waiting period will be considered by the Chippewa Cree Tribe prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Objections must be prepared and submitted in accordance with required procedures (24 CFR Part 58, Sec. 58.76) and shall be addressed to the Grants Management Specialist, Debra Richards. These Notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the Chippewa Cree Tribe.

REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF FUNDS

On or about June 18, 2020, the Chippewa Cree Tribe will submit a request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the release of funds for the following project: MT 11-50 Senior Citizen Housing IHBG201CMT06460.
