Hyacinth ( 18 months ) wore a customed made dress by Cheri du viel of Paris, while Hudson ( 6 years ) wore a traditional blue velvet bespoke suit from Sevile Row in London.

Their parents Michelle-Marie Heinemann and Jon Heinemann clapped and cheered as the little ones danced into the wee hours of the night...while sipping sparkling cider and nibbling on mini cheese burgers, a Doubles classic! Michelle-Marie had special signa-ture Valentine Bellinis made for the occasion for the adults and a beautiful Valentines Cake was presented by the most delightful staff, leaving the guests completely thrilled.

Guests included, Deirdre and son Ethan Bader, R. Couri Hay, Anne and daughter Ariella Baker, Barbara de Porta-go, Maria and Amalia Zameli, Natalie and daughters Na-tacha and Gabriella Ross, Vinnie Potestivo, Toby Faulkner, Brent and his son Griffin Bounds.

Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation held their second annual Palm Beach benefit luncheon at Club Colette on January 31st. As guests strolled through the front door they were welcomed into a beautiful room decorat-ed with large colorful butterfly balloons cover-ing the ceiling and and the table centerpieces.

The event was highlighted with a fabulous fashion show by Emilio Pucci presenting the Resort 2013 collection accented with exquisite fine jewelery from Provident Jewelery. Bob Nichols, a well known auctioneer in South Florida emceed the luncheon and con-ducted the live auction which included luxuri-ous items including art work, designer hand-bags, beautiful jewelery, and a celebrity chef. The guest speaker, Carmen Justiniano was accompanied by her young son, Natanael.

The family has experienced three of Believe In Tomorrow’s respite housing facilities over the past six years as Natanael has been diagnosed with very high acute lymphoblastic leukemia and as he underwent a pediatric stem cell transplant.

Ari Rifkin and Dorothy Sullivan served as Honorary Chairwomen. Linda Adelson, Judi Richards, Soula Rifkin and Wendy Roberts were co-chairwomen.

The Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation is a national leader in pediatric hospital and respite housing services for criti-cally ill children and their families. Additionally, the Foundation is one of the largest providers in the country of support services for military families. Since 1982, the eight pediatric national facilities have provided more then 600,000 overnight accommodations to these children and their families, from every state in the U.S. and over 76 countries world wide.

In the very near future, Believe In Tomorrow will be expanding their respite housing programs to the state of Florida by establishing a new respite facility within Palm Beach County for military pediatrics. Criti-cally ill children whose parents serve in the U.S. Armed Forces will have the opportunity to enjoy a retreat in Florida through this new respite facility.

More than 300 guests enjoyed a dazzling dinner, dancing and entertainment at The Breakers on Saturday, February 2, 2013 for the second annual “Solving the Neurological Puzzle Gala” benefitting the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Neurology.

Co-chairs of the gala, Janet Levy and Cindy Feltenstein, orchestrated a stunning evening featuring a champagne reception where University of Miami President Donna E. Shalala mingled with guests, before dinner, comedic entertainment,a live auction and even livelier dancing.

Professor and chair of neurology, Dr. Ralph Sacco, and Miller School Dean Dr. Pascal . Gold-schmidt, both thanked the crowd and spoke about the great accomplishments that the University of Miami had done in the field of neurology in the last year as well as their plans for opening a medical facility in Palm Beach , moments before Michael Wil-liams, local newschannel 5 anchor and Gala emcee led a live auction of several fabulous items. Among the items was a custom-fitted silk gown donated by celebrity designer Naheem Khan, a beautiful gold and pearl necklace donated by Kaufmann de Suisse, and prime box seats to a Miami Dolphins football game at Sun Life Stadium.

Gala co-chair Janet Levy briefly spoke from her seat thanking her co-chair, Cindy Felten-stein, Honorary Chair Herme de Wyman Miro and International Chair, Lois Pope , as well as Dr. Ralph Sacco, whom she credits for helping her regain her life back after suffering a major stroke 10 years ago.

Comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Jim Belushi got the night started by entering the room playing his harmonica, paying tribute to his hometown of Chicago . Then he brought his Chicago Comedy Troupe onstage to do a few improvisational skits which had the crowd roaring with laughter during an interactive show. The highlight of the evening came when Belushi reappeared with the night’s band, Hot Property” to display his versatility as a performer, singing a handful of “ Blues Brothers” songs such as “Everybody needs Somebody to Love” Hey Bar-tender” and “You’re So Fine” that got the event kicked up another notch.

Jan McArt, appropriately named “The First Lady of Florida’s Musical

Theatre” by two governors’ decrees, has compiled an enviable record since coming to Boca Raton from New York 28 years ago.

Through her Royal Palm Center Production Company, she estab-lished the Jan McArt’s Royal Palm Dinner Theatre and Jan’s Rooftop Cabaret Theatre, along with the Little Palm Children’s Theatre in Boca Raton. She also started theatres in Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, Key West and Miami Beach, and produced many shows through her not-for-profit wing, Jan McArt’s American Festival Series.

Throughout her career, McArt has earned awards and recognition such as the prestigious George Abbott Lifetime Achievement Award from the South Florida Entertain-ment Writers, the Palm Beach Post’s “One of the 100 Most Influen-tial People in Florida for This Century,” the B’Nai Brith International

National Performing Arts Award, 278 Carbonell Award nominations for her dinner theatre, and a Carbonell Best-Actress Award for her performance in Nightclub Confidential.

Jan McArt’s Royal Palm Dinner Theatre took its last bow in April 2001 after a record run of nearly 24-1/2 years. As the first professional theatre in South Florida to run year-round, it set a high standard of excel-lence and helped pave the way for the rich, diverse theatre that South Florida enjoys today.

Since 2001, McArt has been con-certizing, released her CD, Pray for Peace, and appeared in Florida Follies starring Florence Henderson and Carol Lawrence.

In 2004, McArt was appointed director of theatre arts program development at Lynn University. She is the founder and pro-ducer of the Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn series.

BRAVO AMICI They sang Jan McArt’s favorite song, “How Do You Keep the Music Playing,” as a special gift to their producer and a sold out house gave them a standing ovation in their final number, Nessun Dorma from Turandot. The good looking tenors stole the spotlight on this one. All in all, people were clamoring for them to be brought back again. It was a wonderful evening.
