ALL ABOUT JESUS!
We don't always know what each day will bring. But, we do know who is there to walk in each day's activities with us. We should find comfort in that, but we don't always. I have struggled with needing God to be present each day. I struggled with even wanting HIM to know what I was go-ing through. That's a silly statement be-cause HE knows every breath we take. He knows the struggles and the victories even before we do.
Let me explain my struggles over the past couple of years in one sentence. I did not feel worthy to do for me the things that I enjoyed doing for others. I was lost to me, but never to God. And then in October of 2018, God invited me to a place of heal-ing. He invited me to a place of getting to know HIM and His love for me. In speak-ing to me, the book that you see came to life. God invited me to remember and to know HIS love for me, His healing love for me.
The story doesn't end there. 2020 came in attacking me in ways that I had not experi-enced. With each attack, Satan wanted the victory, but GOD invited me to hold tightly to His hand and His love for me. He even whispered, "Daughter, I will never leave you or forsake you". And HE did-n't! Praise God! You see, through possible heart trouble, God showed up and gave healing.
With the news of my brother's death, God showed up in the lives of so many. Victory for God and for Ed! Through a trip to the ER, God spoke healing and gave me aid from a dear friend and confident. And mak-ing a trip to Lubbock to visit my oncologist, again God showed up. He even blessed me with a gift that I had wondered about.
You see, in 2018, God spoke love over me like I had never heard. He was gentle, He was firm, and He was loving. A few months later, He asked me to share our visit with others. And this book, "Knowing God A-Z", is the result of our conversations. God is so amazing, and I give HIM all the credit and praise for the victories because of this book. To Him be ALL the glory.
In Him,
Pastor Ruby

A CHANGE IN OUR CALENDAR
February 26th is Ash Wednesday, and because of that, we will adjust our schedule a bit. Everything is still going to happen, but we will add our Ash Wednesday service. So, the day will look like this:
Normal Wednesday activities around the church un-til 5:00.
The Wednesday meal at Church Cafe will be from 5:00 - 6:00.
Ash Wednesday Service will begin at 6:00.
The other Wednesday evening activities will follow the service.
This is always a special service. Please plan to at-tend. This marks the beginning of our Lenten Sea-son.

Take Time to Be in God's Word:
God desires to be a part of our everyday lives. He longs to show His love for us in special ways. If we will take the time, He will surprise us with special gifts of His love throughout our day. Spend time in the Word and then allow God to show up in any part of your day that He chooses. Read a Scripture and then look for God during the day. He will show up. Here are some Scriptures to help
you find God in your day.

Praying is not always easy! We find ourselves in situations that might make it hard. Are you there?
Let Us Pray:
Oh Loving and gracious Father, we pause to give you our thanks and praise for this day. Too often we try to make our days about "us" instead of inviting YOU and the sacredness of YOUR presence. Please walk with us today guiding our step, silencing us when needed, and unstopping our ears so that we may hear YOU. Father, sometimes the challenge is to simply be in Your presence. Sometimes, in our mess ups, we look to You to blame rather than looking to You for aid. Please see us today and equip us for this day. Teach us to let the "day" , this day be a gift from You. Stay near us, Father God. Hold us close as You allow us to move through each day. We will give YOU all the praise for all the victories. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Spring Picture Day - New Church Directory It’s time! It’s time for a new church directory.
We have a choice of dates.
March 20, 21 and 23, 24.
(This date is two days during spring break and two days the next week.)
OR
April 10,11 and 13,14. (Since this date is in April, Lifetouch will donate a small portion of what you buy, back to our church.)
Please call (669-7411) or email ([email protected]) ASAP and let Virginia know your choice so we can make a decision.
This being said, we need to update our membership roster now. We have over 200 members on our roll who do not regularly attend this church. Some have been gone a very long time. Some live right here and have not come to church in years. Some live here and haven’t been in 6 months. Please contact the church office if you have any information on our missing members.
I’m excited to have a new directory.
